I received my last Badass Yarn Club delivery almost a month ago and It’s take me this long to get my act together enough to share with you my newest lovelies! So enjoy while I catch you up!
I must state for the record that Mercedes does make me more aware of our mail carrier. We have rural route delivery, so I never get to even see who actually puts our mail in the box, I love them just the same….. They put Yarn in my mail box with just the right mix of bills.
No body likes opening their bills, even if they know exactly how much and when it’s due, but wouldn’t it be nice if sometimes the electric company sent you a smiley sticker? C’mon, how much could that really cost them?I mean a piece of dark chocolate would be even better, but a bright pink flower sticker could be just as uplifting and surprising.
Elisa Munoz was the Badass Woman of November and I felt such a bond and surge of joy reading about her and the club that would be funded through my purchase of yarn club membership. The donations will be sent to the local Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Y’all know that fighting MS has become a goal of mine and I couldn’t think of a better cause for sponsorship for the yarn club
Mercedes has been adding mini sampler skeins and I know some of her Luxe Merino is on my Christmas Wish List. Hint Hint! I’ll miss the Badass Yarn Club, due to finance stuff I need to cut back on treats, one of which is yarn…. Bummer. It has been fun and Mercedes has added bonus goodies for club members only on-line in the clubhouse and has been great about sending email updates and spoiler alerts – I always peek!
